We are looking to recruit a Business Analyst to work within the IT department of Clicks Group Services. The role will be based at Clicks Head Office in Cape Town and will report to the Technical Team Lead.
Job Objectives:
- Act as a liaison between the technical and business teams.
- Responsible for assessing the quality of change requests that are logged by business champions.
- Assists the business to identify processes, problems, opportunities and/or needs and work with IT to define solution characteristics.
- Investigate business problems and issues across applications and functionality to determine the most effective resolution and document in the form of a business case.
- Adhere to relevant governance processes such as the Project Management LifeCycle, the Systems Development LifeCycle, Architecture Compliance process, etc.
- Document all business analysis work according to architectural standards, including all components of the business case and associated solution diagrams, such as context diagrams and process models.
- Work with other business analysts to raise competency levels within the organization through the sharing of ideas and learning, and by participating in peer reviews.
- Perform the role of a ‘process architect’ on projects, in consultation with the business and IT, understand the ‘bigger picture’, and strategic priorities which include the business operating plans and IT operating plans.
- Assists project managers with scoping and business processes.
- Identify and communicate impacts, risks and issues timeously.
- Responsible for test scripts, business scenarios and testing.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant B. Degree Finance (essential).
- 2 to 4 Years Business Analysis experience.
- Finance and HR experience advantageous.

- Skilled in the use of business analysis tools and techniques, including the preparation of business cases, facilitation and interviewing, context diagramming, business process analysis, event-driven process modelling, data modelling, location analysis and organization analysis.
