We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through video. You will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content that aligns with our brand and engages our audience.
Key Responsibilities
• Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished videos, including cutting, splicing, and synchronizing footage, adding sound effects, music, and graphics.
• Content Creation: Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to develop engaging video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and advertising campaigns.
• Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives and visual stories that effectively communicate our brand message and resonate with our audience.
• Motion Graphics: Create and integrate motion graphics and visual effects to enhance video content.
• Audio Editing: Edit and mix audio tracks, including voiceovers, music, and sound effects, ensuring high-quality sound in all video productions.
• Quality Control: Ensure all video content meets high standards of quality, consistency, and brand guidelines.
• Project Management: Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality in all deliverables.
• Feedback Incorporation: Receive and implement feedback from team members and stakeholders to improve video content.
• File Management: Organize and archive video assets and project files systematically.
Qualifications
• Education: Preferable, but not essential Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Multimedia Arts, Communication, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in video editing, preferably within an e commerce, marketing, or creative agency environment.
• Skills:
◦ Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
◦ Knowledge of motion graphics and animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
◦ Strong understanding of video production processes and best practices.
◦ Excellent storytelling and visual communication skills.
◦ Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality.
◦ Strong time management and organizational skills.
◦ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a range of video editing projects, including examples of motion graphics and storytelling.
