A leading workforce solutions company seeks a Head of IT in Gauteng to shape the digital landscape and drive innovation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee IT operations, ensuring high reliability, security, and scalability.
- Lead the IT support team to provide timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
- Implement robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard data and systems.
- Develop and manage the IT budget to ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Manage and negotiate contracts with IT vendors to ensure favourable terms.
- Work closely with stakeholders to align IT projects with strategic business objectives.
- Direct and manage IT projects from initiation to successful completion.
- Continuously assess and optimize the IT stack to meet evolving business needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
- 5 years + relevant experience in a similar managerial role.
- Experience in creating, managing and reporting on IT budgets.
- Experience in working with current and emerging technologies.
- Experience developing and maintaining IT policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
