Duties & Responsibilities
Job Description:
- Utilize your expertise in MATLAB/Simulink software development for cutting-edge controllers and systems.
- Lead the development, documentation, and testing of control software and innovative software tools.
- Conduct module-level testing and validation to ensure optimal performance.
- Drive continuous improvement by engineering enhancements to software development processes.
- Play a key role in system architecture design, integrating advanced technologies for seamless operation.
- Develop system plant models and simulations to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Create essential software tools to support production and field operations.
- Embrace exciting opportunities for occasional international travel to support project needs.
Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of professional experience (non-negotiable).
- Demonstrate solid experience in ISO 26262 functional safety design.
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink.
- Display familiarity with Polarion ALM tools.
- Apply knowledge of J1939 CAN communication and associated test tools/equipment.
Qualification:
BEng or MEng. Degree in Electronic / Mechatronic Engineering.
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
