Responsible for conducting research, analyzing market trends, and evaluating investment opportunities to support decision-making processes in asset management, financial planning, or corporate finance. The role involves working closely with portfolio managers and other investment professionals to assess potential investments, provide recommendations, and help optimize investment strategies.
Duties: - Manage and consolidate national sales reports (manual and automated) across campuses.
- Receive, store, and categorize weekly campus sales reports.
- Support National Heads and Campus Heads with report compilation and analysis.
- Consolidate sales data into comprehensive weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
- Ensure the accuracy of sales data across all platforms.
- Identify and resolve data anomalies to maintain balanced data.
- Provide a balanced, consolidated sales tracker to the Sales Operations Manager.
- Attend sales calls to support teams with current and historical sales data as required.
Key Responsibilities: - Market Research & Analysis: Conduct research on financial markets, sectors, industries, and companies, analyzing economic trends, financial data, and macroeconomic developments.
- Investment Evaluation: Assess investment opportunities (e.g., equities, bonds) using financial models, valuations (DCF, comparable analysis), and risk evaluations.
- Portfolio Support: Assist in building and managing client portfolios, monitor performance, and suggest adjustments.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed investment reports, present strategies, and maintain financial models and records.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess investment risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and monitor portfolio exposure.
- Collaboration: Work with teams across research, trading, and risk management to support investment decisions and strategies.
Skills & Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's in Finance, Economics, or related field (Masters or CFA is a plus).
- Experience: 1-3 years in investment or financial analysis, preferably in asset management or investment banking.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, Bloomberg, and valuation techniques.
- Analytical & Communication Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial data and present findings clearly.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy in managing complex data.
