JOB OVERVIEW:
As a Senior Frontend Developer, the successful candidate will lead the client's frontend development initiatives, blending strong leadership skills with advanced technical knowledge. The successful candidate's expertise in React, along with familiarity with technologies like Angular, will be essential as they develop and enhance our web applications to ensure they are cutting-edge and reliable. The client's tech stack features React, Angular, .NET, and SQL, and is deployed on Azure. The successful candidate will be responsible for building new services with React while maintaining and supporting the client's existing systems built with Angular.
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
Responsibilities:
- Guide and support developers, fostering best practices within the team.
- Lead the integration of cutting-edge front-end technologies and techniques.
- Partner with architects and backend teams to create scalable, user-centric, and high-performance solutions.
- Build, enhance, and refine web applications using React, Angular, and related frontend tools.
- Ensure applications are responsive, high-performing, and maintainable across different platforms and devices.
- Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) to deliver well-tested and high-quality code.
- Develop unit and integration tests to maintain the reliability and stability of the platform.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and create effective solutions.
- Participate actively in agile methodologies, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Knowledge of backend software development.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of guiding the team and interacting with a variety of stakeholders.
- Strong leadership qualities, with a commitment to mentoring and knowledge sharing.
- Familiarity with modern build tools, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms.
- Exposure to other front-end libraries or frameworks.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- At least five years of experience in React and other technologies such as Angular, with a strong grasp of web development fundamentals including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with TDD and related testing frameworks/tools.
- Expert frontend development experience, with a proven track record of leading projects and teams.
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology field is preferred.
