The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in sales and business development, with a proven track record. Experience in the corporate wellness industry is a huge plus. Must be able to work under pressure and hunt for new business while also effectively attending to incoming leads. Your book of contacts and your drive is the deciding factor here.
Duties & Responsibilities
Sales account managers are responsible for managing the sales efforts of their company’s products or services. They work with a variety of different clients, from small businesses to large corporations, and they help these clients find value in the company’s offerings.

Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements:
- Document clearly complaints, issues, and problems with the sales process for future review
- Identify opportunities for sales improvement
- Assist customers and educate them on the benefit of the company’s products
- Ensure client projects are a success by communicating with relevant departments involved in the project and if required participating in the execution of events
- Working after hours if the project requires
- Traveling to see clients when required, petrol reimbursements only occur after a 30km radius, one way. For any other reimbursements, valid receipts are required
- Deliver and create presentations for new business
- Attend client meetings
- Maintain relationships with existing clients
- Expand relationships with potential clients
- Identify potential new clients and create relationships with them
- Obtaining reference letters after projects have been implemented
- Negotiating pricing details with clients or customers to meet their needs while maintaining profit margins for the company
- Meeting with clients to discuss project details and develop proposals for new business opportunities
- Meeting with clients to strategize on ways to increase utilization
- Create a HELP assessment and any other assessment report that you have sold and host a meeting with the client to discuss findings and recommend solutions
- Launch your closed EAP clients on product offering
- Sustaining relationships with existing clients to ensure continued business from repeat purchases
- Meeting regularly with management to discuss performance metrics, goals, and progress toward objectives
- Developing sales leads from prospects provided by the company’s marketing department
- Working with internal departments such as finance and accounting to ensure that sales goals are met
- Providing feedback to management on the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and other marketing initiatives
- Complete administrative work as required
- Manage a portfolio of accounts
- Handle certain aspects of the company’s campaign
- Generate new business with the use of the existing company’s network contacts
- Ensure that solutions are successfully and timely delivered to customers and according to their specifications
- Regularly communicate to internal and external stakeholders on the progress of initiatives employed in sales activities on relevant project management systems
- Ensure achievement of sales targets.
- Commission will be payable based on the start date and signed SLA for EAP clients, all other commissions will be payable once the invoice has been paid by the client.
- Senior client success manager focuses on larger deals and clients with the support of their junior, training them on daily tasks & KPI requirements.
Positive attributes:
- Experience in the EAP, corporate wellness, or VAS sector
- Degree or diploma in sales
Salary
To be discussed. Good commission and fantastic OTE.
Location
You will be required to work from the office in Fourways, Johannesburg from 8 am to 5 pm. We do not do WFH or flexi-time, unfortunately.
