As a Documentation Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Repair Project Managers (PPCs) to ensure the successful execution of repair projects. You will assist in tracking parts, maintaining documentation, and coordinating communication with vendors and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities: - Track parts required for repair work orders, enhancing project scheduling accuracy.
- Create purchase requisitions for necessary parts and materials.
- Assist in compiling project parts lists and organizing work packs, including drawings and procedures.
- Update and revise production routers and Bills of Materials (BOM) in the ERP system based on work order requirements.
- Support communication with vendors, suppliers, and certifying authorities as needed.
- Monitor production and work scopes, identifying potential issues impacting timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate work scopes and quality plans with relevant parties, ensuring compliance with best practices.
- Assist in creating engineering concessions and coordinating documentation with the engineering team.
- Compile Certificates of Conformance (COCs) and Statements of Fact (SOFs) as required.
- Assist with databook compilation within a Document Management System (DMS).
- Perform general administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: - Senior certificate
- Experience in a manufacturing or repair environment is preferred.
Skills and Competencies: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (intermediate to advanced level preferred).
- Knowledge of relevant systems (e.g., Tracker, RigOffice, Team Centre, ERP).
- Ability to interpret schematics, drawings, and Bills of Materials.
- Excellent administrative skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Goal-driven with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
