Senior Mechanical Project Engineer Nelspruit
Play a critical role in overseeing the design, fabrication and installation or engineering projects, ensuring that all deliverables meet their high standards.
Minimum requirements and experience: - BEng (Mechanical Engineering)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering and project management.
- Proven working experience in designing and installing industrial equipment or processing facilities
- Proven experience in the following areas: Sheet Metal design, Structural design and General factory/ plant layout designs.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design software: SolidWorks
- Excellent Project Management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and hands-on approach to engineering challenges.
Responsibilities: - Design and Engineering:
- Develop detailed mechanical designs and specifications for processing equipment and facilities; Perform engineering calculations, simulations and analysis to validate design choices.
2. Project Management:
- Lead mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion, including design and procurement.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams.
