Key Responsibilities Daily meeting with foreman to discuss previous shifts and action any outstanding Issues. Acting as shift electrician or Fitter when and if required. Assist with factory breakdowns where needed. To share standby duties with chargehand and Workshop Foreman, and to stand in when he is off sick or on leave. You will be responsible to plan and carry out machine calibrations on all machines on a monthly basis. Planning and Supervision of Maintenance Jobs. Managing of spares and stock levels. Project planning and execution. Qualifications Matric qualification. Red seal trade qualification - Millwright. 5 years experience minimum within a large, highly pressurised factory environment. PLC courses/certificates with proof is beneficial. Job Requirements Good fault-finding skills, electrical and mechanical. Very good knowledge of Boilers, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, PLCs and VSDs. You must have Good Interpersonal Skills. You must have your own reliable Transport. First time right attitude, very confident in your abilities and be very passionate. Good decision-making abilities. Maintenance processes for industrial machinery. Fabrication of mechanical components. Fault-finding and repair of industrial machinery. Overhauling of electrical and mechanical sub-assemblies and machines. Installation and commissioning of industrial machinery. You must be living close to Nelspruit CBD (standby duties). Must have good mechanical skill to assist both electrical and mechanical breakdowns. (These skills will be independently tested and verified). Good computer literacy. Physically fit as position involves a lot of physical work and long hours at times. Previous experience with world class manufacturing systems beneficial. Previous experience in corrugating and printing environment beneficial. Previous supervision experience beneficial. Should have own tools available from the first day on site. Production / Maintenance Management System experience is beneficial Such as Shopware / Abaca.
