We are looking for a Sales Promoter whose role would be to recruit and manage a team of Direct Sales Representatives to distribute and sell our M-KOPA products such as phones in and around the Soweto region.
Autonomy
This role would allow you to autonomously recruit, manage, and coach a field-based team of Direct Sales Representatives to meet and surpass the set targets following our business goals. You would also be monitoring and evaluating their performance to ensure they meet the right standards.
To achieve this, it would be important to have good coaching, leadership, and sales management experience that would enable you to plan and organize your team well.
Inventory Management
You would oversee the allocation of M-KOPA sales products and devices to your direct sales force team, managing their inventory and resolving audit recommendations following the set audit resolution guidelines.
Background
Having a background in sales or sales management, particularly dealing with microfinance, mobile money, FMCG or financial services would make you a good fit for the role.
Additionally, certification in business administration, marketing, or related fields with fluency in the local languages and excellent sales and negotiation skills would be even more fitting.
