Our client is seeking a qualified and dedicated Training Facilitator to join our team in Rietfontein. If you are a registered Facilitator experienced in facilitating Management, General Management, and Generic Management learnerships, we urge you to apply.
Minimum Requirements: - Certified and registered Facilitator/Moderator
- 2 – 3 years experience in facilitation specific to Special Education
- Previous learnership facilitation experience
- Previous Assessor experience would be advantageous
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in administrative tasks and record-keeping
- Ability to work collaboratively with facilitators and management
- Commitment to continuous personal and professional development
Duties and Responsibilities: - Delivering Content to Students
- Prepare learning materials and obtain the schedule for content delivery before classes start.
- Prepare the content delivery plan in advance and deliver according to the schedule.
- Manage facilitator support to provide individual attention to students, brief facilitators on upcoming session content before classes, and debrief with them immediately after each session.
- Plan corrective actions for any issues discussed during the debrief by the end of the day.
- Schedule and deliver a minimum of two remedial sessions per module and provide individual remedial sessions after receiving feedback on assessments.
- Grading of Formative Assessments
- Grade assessments according to the memorandum.
- Identify and note remedial areas for each student.
- Reassess remedial areas.
- Administration of Student Portfolio of Evidence Files
- Record daily assessment outcomes and facilitator observations in the student portfolio.
- Ensure the inclusion of the assessment plan and all pre-assessment details before the summative assessment.
- Add post-assessment documents such as the logbook and course evaluation form, and conduct quality control before submission.
- Reporting
- Submit monthly facilitator feedback and module reports on the LMS.
- Identify and report at-risk learners daily.
- Participate in daily Short Interval Control meetings.
- Regularly report on student performance and the distribution of learning materials and portfolio submissions by the end of their respective days.
- General
- Assist with ad hoc duties as needed.
- Stay multi-skilled to support all operational functions.
- Identify one personal learning area and one business unit development area each quarter with detailed improvement plans.
- Attend training sessions as required.
