Automotive Applications Engineer Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop applications that effectively accomplish client objectives and user needs
- Adapt applications as needed to optimise performance
- Identify specific customer and client needs and preferences related to Liqui Moly
- Test work where needed
- Act as a technical advisor to clientele
- Liaise with the sales department to identify technical requirements and develop solutions
- Quote for projects including estimated time and costs
- Act as a resident technological expert advisor for our products
- Connect with customers to analyze user experience and gain constructive feedback
- Customize specialized applications according to client needs
- Contribute to sales training showcasing all technical features and processes
- Maintain positive client relationships
Experience:
Applications Engineer Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- 2+ years’ experience as an automotive applications engineer
- Strong customer service skills
- Sales and marketing experience a plus
- Ability to handle client and customer issues tactfully and professionally
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Adept and effective communicator
- Creative, analytical, and driven
- Thrives in a fast-paced work environment
- Enjoys complex problem-solving and collaboration
Salary
