Lead Data Architect (Cloud Solutions)
We are currently partnering with a client within the Financial Services industry who has an amazing opportunity for a Lead Data Architect (Cloud Solutions) on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Cape Town, on a Hybrid work set up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy and planning
- Project related deliverables and tasks
- Staff and talent management
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 8-10 years' experience in IT systems and analysis
- 10+ years' experience with analytical tools and BI tools and visualisation
- 5+ years' experience in cloud computing infrastructure (e.g., AWS EC2, Elastic MapReduce, S3, RedShift, Glue, etc.)
- Experience in Data Lake and relational databases (RDB)
- 8-10 years' experience delivering business capabilities for Financial Services
- Deep knowledge of contemporary architectural principles across the data architectural domain
- Understanding of enterprise architecture to ensure ongoing alignment, driving the technical road map for key applications and platforms
- Knowledge of different SDLC Methodologies
