Job Description
Our client in the travel industry is looking for a Reporting Accountant. As the Reporting Accountant you will be responsible for authorising EFT by checking the principal being paid, the amount being paid, and banking details. You will ensure that all accounting entries and deadlines are managed and met every month, achieving deadlines. You will close the GL timeously and ensure that all entries are captured before you close. You will authorise EFTs by checking the principal being paid, the amount being paid, and banking details.
Gaining experience in financial reporting can open doors to higher-level positions such as Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Requirements
Bachelor of Commerce degree.
Minimum 3 years experience in a Reporting Accountant role.
Minimum 2 years experience working with GAAP and IFRS.
Knowledge of Law and Government.
Knowledge of Basic Economics and Accounting principles and practices.
