Tracker requires the services of a Project Coordinator in the Development & Engineering Department at our Centurion Regional Office. The incumbent will be responsible to coordinate activities throughout the project lifecycle and meet goals by an assigned deadline on multiple projects running at the same time.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Assist with compiling and updating of project plans and other project information and documentation.
- Collaborating with project teams and other departments to track and execute project plans and the lower-level tasks.
- Help monitor progress, budget, hours and raise flags in agreed ways, using agreed tools.
- Frequently communicating the status and other related project information.
- Eliciting and managing project risks and any delivery blockers.
- Setting up, facilitating and maintaining regular project forums/meeting as well as taking minutes and action notes.
- Coordinating project transition to analysis, design, development, testing, training and roll out.
- Tracking the progress and quality of work being performed by the project teams.
- Utilising project scheduling and control tools to monitor project plans.
- Help the team to keep a project within the defined scope and objectives and manage any scope creep.
- Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.
- Administrative tasks as required by above.
- Quality assurance of deliverables produced.
- Ensure that best practice processes and standards are followed.
- Resolve all customer queries efficiently, and within agreed timelines.
- Personal training and development that is aligned to the job profile.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant Degree or Diploma in Project Management as well as relevant project management work experience.
- 2 years of work experience in related business (Development & Engineering).
- Proven experience on skills/competencies as listed above.
- Experience with MS Team Foundation Server (TFS/Azure DevOps).
- Experience with MS Office, including MS Projects.
- Excellent analytical skills with an ability to translate complex data and documents into a clear and concise manner.
- Strong relationship building skills with focus on the customer.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisation and planning skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle pressure while working on multiple projects.
