We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Short-Term Advisor to join our team. The Short-Term Advisor will be responsible for managing and expanding our client base in a sustainable, profitable, and ethical manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The role of Short-Term Advisor is divided into Categories of Responsibility:
- Client Liaisons and Advisory Responsibilities:
- Provide risk management and short-term insurance advice to a selected portfolio of existing clients.
- Prospect new clients to grow the insurance portfolio and achieve contracted targets.
- Provide appropriate short-term insurance and risk management advice through a client SLA.
- Enhance the clients’ experience of Origin, focusing on client retention.
- Liaise with the appointed Line Manager regarding projects, goals, retention, and maintenance of clients to drive income generation and portfolio growth.
- Generate new business by referrals and “cross-selling” for different entities within the Origin group.
- Manage and maintain the selected client portfolio, assisting in claims, renewal of policies, and general client queries within reasonable timelines.
- Oversee and manage quotations, policy activations, and amendments.
- Internal Company and Administrative Responsibilities:
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding strategic marketing drives and internal marketing strategies.
- Observe and adhere to company policies, procedures, and workflow processes in operational matters.
- Support the company “house view” model.
- Aid administrative and claims teams when required to provide exceptional service to clients.
- Liaise with Line Manager regarding training programs related to product-specific training and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Reporting and Feedback Responsibilities:
- Report to Line Manager on goal management, renewals, marketing projects, and strategic marketing drives.
- Attend and participate in Advisor Meetings as determined.
Requirements
Qualification:
- Registered as Representative of related FSP.
- FAIS legislature requirements, including RE1 and RE5.
- Responsible for meeting CPD requirements.
- Continue to meet all Fit and Proper requirements as per the latest legislation.
