Talent Candey - Johannesburg, Gauteng - Our reputable Construction client is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in Johannesburg CBD.
Purpose of the Job
Quantity surveyors in essence work with the cost analysis of building projects. The quantity surveyor executes cost analysis based on the architectural drawings, engineering estimates, materials required, and the labour involved.
Salary
Market Related. After 3 months, medical aid (optional).
Requirements
- A driver's license with own reliable vehicle.
- Matric.
- OHS Act, Construction Regulations.
- Degree / Diploma in Construction Management / Quantity Surveyor / Artisanship.
- Minimum legal Accountability/SHE Management (would be ideal).
- 1-2 years' experience as a Junior Quantity Surveyor.
- 2-3 years experience within the construction industry.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft.
- 1-2 years using Build Smart and CCS Candy.
- Physical Fitness - Must be able to move freely.
