Our client in Johannesburg is looking for Senior Finance Manager - CA(SA) to start immediately for a fixed-term contract.

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
- Develop and oversee financial planning processes, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage cross-functional projects related to finance, operations, and strategic initiatives.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring successful execution and delivery within scope, timeline, and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to define project objectives, milestones, and success criteria.
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and presentations for senior management, board of directors, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and financial reviews.
Process Improvement and Optimisation:
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance efficiency, and implement best practices.
- Drive initiatives to optimise working capital, cash flow management, and cost control.
- Implement financial systems and tools to support automation and scalability.
Leadership and Team Development:
- Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff, promoting collaboration and teamwork.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management, offering strategic insights and financial expertise.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- CA (SA)
- Proven experience in senior finance management roles, with a focus on financial planning and analysis, project management, and process improvement.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and Excel / accounting software.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership qualities with a track record of developing and motivating high-performing teams.
