We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Land Systems team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical solutions for land-based systems and equipment. This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions that meet customer requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and validate mechanical components and systems for land systems applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers.
- Conduct feasibility studies and perform engineering analysis to ensure optimal designs.
- Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings using CAD software.
- Support the prototyping and testing phases, analyzing performance and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Assist in project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Provide technical support during the production and assembly processes.
Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- experience in mechanical design, preferably within the defense or automotive sectors.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD).
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering principles.
