REPORTING TO THE PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR JOB PURPOSE: To assemble, test and repair equipment on site. This may include supervision of site staff during the installation. The job involves a large amount of travel and shift work may be required. JOB FUNCTION: Daily safety meetings are attended, potential hazards and unsafe acts are identified and reported on Risk assessments and permits are completed as required PPE is inspected daily and all OHSA procedures are adhered to Tools are identified where required and inspected daily Customer lock out procedures are adhered to Installers (site staff) receive on the job training as required and installation team achieves daily objectives Client is contacted to discuss all equipment and resources required to fulfil task at hand Installation is completed to customer satisfaction and company standards / requirements Testing and repair of equipment is completed where identified Quality and housekeeping standards are maintained Handover to customer occurs once job is completed Credit card and cash expenses are controlled daily and paperwork submitted as required Reports are completed and submitted within 48 hours of completion of the job QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 Qualified Millwright At least 5 years working experience in a manufacturing and site service environment with good mechanical and electrical experience Attention to detail, problem solver, safety and quality orientated Must be able to work independently without supervision Displays an understanding of the company products in relation to job output Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook) Valid drivers licence
