As the successful incumbent you will be responsible for achieving Indigo Brands sales and profitability targets as well as aligning the customers goals with Indigos strategic goals. Line Manager : Sales Executive Job Specification: Key Performance Areas: Achieve the Sales Budget on the Customer Portfolio Meet regularly face to face with Customers and work with them to build a strong commercial plan, ensuring that Indigo sales targets are achieved and that profitability is maintained at approved level. Manage the sales co-op budget to the agreed levels Conduct pre & post promotion analysis and ensure continuous (Return on Investment) ROI improvement Accountable to ensure Indigo meets the agreed Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) distribution targets for the various customers and categories Provide input into category planograms & flow with Marketing & Trade marketing Carry out regular Strength Weakness Opportunity Threat (SWOT) analyses in regards customers demands. Find opportunities within the retailer, store and brand mix and tactics to counteract threats and challenges presented Prepare and present two retailer strat meetings per annum per key retailer which have the support and participation of the Sales Executive, Marketing and Trade Marketing Monitor sales orders and reports and analyse to ensure insight and action can be shared and planned with relevant parties Online New listings and current product range and managing stock levels Improve and oversee online presence Implementing and updating brand pages across the major retailers Build and manage existing online business with all retailers in the portfolio Development and analyzing the effectiveness of digital strategy Utilizing online channel for clearance of excess stock Team Reporting Working with the relevant team members and stakeholders to build a database of report Validating and collection of data to ensure accuracy of Business Intelligence (BI) database Carry out all necessary co-ordination and administrative control between Indigo systems or departments and the Customer Portfolio Manage stock returns, Return to Vendors (RTVs) and Markdowns for discontinued lines Review discontinued stock return and markdown against plan Manage order pricing to minimise errors Maintain excellent standards of account administration on the Customer Portfolio Raise annual Purchase Orders (POs) Raise annual POs for markdowns to give SAP visibility to approved plans and provisions and control authorisation for payment against plan and execution Ensure that SAP deals have been counter signed by the Sales Executive before offering to retailer or loading on SAP Ensure that Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) order pricing discrepancies are tightly managed on a daily basis. Participate in demand planning update sessions and providing quality information and following through on action points Submit a monthly narrative that provides the following: Key sell through information National Sales Value (NSV) Performance insight and plans to correct or add opportunities Retailer news Annual customer business planning Assist Sales Executive with preparation for annual Trading Terms Preparation, analysis and insights Interpret the marketing plans and incorporate them into the promotional grids Write the Customer Business Plan detailing strategy, new stores, shopper profiling, opportunities and risks Thorough prep and planning to support Sales Executive with annual Trading Terms Minimum Requirements: Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in a Key Account management role in a large company dealing with retailers in Health and Beauty Industry Strong Excel knowledge Solid Commercial experience Qualifications: Grade 12 BCom or any relevant qualification in Business Management
