Overseeing and managing controls related to financial operations Overseeing the debt recovery process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, and managing the debtor's book Act as the primary point of contact for all debtor-related queries, providing prompt and professional responses Lowering debt risk through negotiating increased securities Execute the lending portfolio and continually optimize risk strategy for acquisition, fraud, and collection Conduct monthly reporting on the status of the debtor's book, including aging analysis and collection performance Proactively follow up on overdue accounts, both monthly and seasonal, to ensure timely payment Prepare and process credit applications, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate Ensure the establishment and proper documentation of securities for credit facilities, such as guarantees or collateral Perform regular reconciliations of debtor accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies Leveraging Culture & Diversity Ensures a sound credit risk management culture through awareness amongst the internal and external stakeholders Digital Transformation Driving the automation/optimisation of credit management processes and control platforms Develop consumer-facing content across a variety of segments to publicise the company's products & brands Key leadership attributes The incumbent would need to have the ability to progress and add continuous incremental value Dealing with complexity Sound pragmatic judgement Achievement orientation National Diploma (Credit Management or relevant) 3 years related experience Strong knowledge of credit management processes and controls, financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws and the Credit Act Drivers license (occasional travel may be required)
