Morris Material Handling - Stores Supervisor
Morris Material Handling is currently seeking a Stores Supervisor to join its team in Benoni - Head Office.
Duties & Responsibilities
- General stock control, running of day-to-day stores function
- Delegating and evaluation of subordinates
- Responsible for receiving and issuing of material and making sure of cost allocations
- Checking that the costs are up to date on Syspro
- Opening and closing of orders
- Controlling of chain hoist orders received from the branches
- Control of chain hoist assemblies as required
- Managing and controlling the packing of jobs
- Checking of stock levels
- Co-ordination of stock taking
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Supply Chain Management or Logistics Diploma
- Computer literacy – Word, Excel & Syspro
- Supervisory skills
- Experience and or knowledge of cranes and their manufacturers would be an advantage
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and specifications
