Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of surveyors and technicians, including performance management and professional development.
- Provide insights and support decision-making in cross-functional meetings and discussions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related engineering field.
- 5 years of experience as a Lead Surveyor or Senior Surveyor in a mining or similar heavy industrial environment.
- Thorough understanding of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment, including GPS, total stations, and GIS software.
- Proficient in the use of mining software, such as Maptek or Vulcan, is a plus.
- Certification as a Professional Surveyor (PS) or Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) is highly desirable.
