The role of the Transaction Officer is to coordinate the end-to-end transaction process across various stakeholders (both internal and external to the bank) with a specific focus on deal closing, facility origination, ongoing facility administration, collateral management, and the effective and maximum use of the bank’s various operating systems, in line with the Transactional Management policy and other related governance of Standard Bank.

Type of Qualification: First Degree
Field of Study: Finance and Accounting/Business Commerce
Experience Required
- 1-2 years prior experience working within a transaction management/middle office environment as a transaction officer, financial or credit officer supporting an Investment Banking team.
- 3-4 years prior experience as an accounts analyst or business banker with good interpersonal relationships.
- 3-4 years experience in Finance.
- 1-2 years prior experience working within a transaction management/middle office environment as a transaction officer, financial or credit officer supporting an Investment Banking team.
