We are looking for a Junior Accountant in 7 WARRINGTON ROAD, CLAREMONT, CT, WESTERN CAPE 7708 ZAF. Your mission will be to:
Are you an enthusiastic, analytical-minded individual with above-average organisational skills and a keen interest in finance? A detail-oriented team player who can multi-task and is eager to learn from the best of them? Then we’ve got just the job for you.
What we're looking for:
- Tertiary qualification (3 year) in Finance or similar
- Newly qualified individual who is willing to learn
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Proven ability to manage accounting figures and financial records is an added advantage
- Experience with MS Excel and other related accounting software is an added advantage
- Good understanding of procurement processes from PO to Payment is an added advantage
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
You'll be tasked with:
- Issuing of daily purchase orders
- Analysis of open orders
- Provision of remittances to suppliers
- Process and submission of Weekly payments
- Recon supplier invoices to GRV and PO
- Submit to accountants for raising
