Job Overview:
Waterfront Guest House is seeking a dedicated gardener to maintain and enhance the beauty of our guesthouse. This role involves creating a welcoming, well-kept environment for our guests by overseeing all landscaping tasks, including cleaning, planting, pruning, and lawn care.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain gardens, pathways, patios and entertainment area.
- Plant, prune, water, and fertilize plants, trees, and flowers.
- Mow, edge, and maintain lawns to ensure a pristine appearance.
- Perform basic pest and weed control, ensuring a clean and healthy environment.
- Operate and maintain gardening equipment and tools.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team
- Be a fire fighter and inspect Fire equipment
Experience:
- Matric
- Previous gardening or landscaping experience preferred.
- Knowledge of local plant care, pest control, and maintenance techniques.
- Ability to operate gardening equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
