The successful incumbent will work together with the Finance Executive to develop and manage a functional finance team.
Some duties include:
- Monthly profit and loss review
- Management accounts submission to group
- Assist with annual year-end pack and budgets
- Assist with quarterly board reports
- Prepare monthly reports
- Maintenance of fixed asset register
- Depreciation posting journals
- Calculate, reconcile and submit monthly VAT
- Assist with preparing monthly journals
- Assist with annual internal and external audits
- Oversight of creditors and cashbook administration
- Monthly stock counts
Education:
- Completed BCom Degree in Finance or Accounting
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- 4 to 5 years' experience in an accounting position essential
- Product / stock environment experience essential
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Working knowledge of VAT and Tax
- Good communication and relationship building skills
