Lead Electrical Engineer , you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of high-voltage electrical systems across transmission and distribution networks. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring projects meet technical specifications, regulatory standards, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage engineering projects from concept through to commissioning, focusing on transmission and distribution systems up to 33kV up to 765kV.
- Design, analyze, and optimize electrical networks, including substations, switchgear, and power lines.
- Develop technical specifications, perform feasibility studies, and conduct risk assessments.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance system reliability and performance.
- Provide expert guidance on electrical protection, control systems, and network automation.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed project documentation, including design drawings, calculations, and compliance reports.
- Mentor and guide a team of junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, standards, and regulatory changes, implementing best practices across all projects.

Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong focus on transmission and distribution systems.
- In-depth knowledge of high-voltage systems, substation design, and power transmission networks.
- Professional Engineer (PE) with ECSA.
- Experience with industry-standard software (e.g., CDEGS, Autogrid Pro, or similar).
- Strong understanding of national and international electrical standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC, NEC).
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, with experience in client management and team mentorship.
