Key Performance Areas
Change Control
- Creates and Maintains Policies and processes relating to Change Control Management
- Drives adoption of policies and procedures
- Chairs Change Advisory Board
- Compiles the CAB meeting agenda and minutes
- Engages IT and stakeholders for necessary arrangements for system downtime
- Validates all information is correct and change meet the requirement before approving it for tabling at the CAB
- Conducts annual reviews of Change control policies
- Conducts training for Change Control processes
- Provides support for Change control during audits
- Identify and highlight risks addressed in CAB
- Provided monthly reports on changes
- Communicates regular with stakeholders on high impact or emergency changes
- Compiles trend analysis reports on change results
- Ensures that SACM has updated all necessary configuration items before closing off changes
Release Management
- Creates and Maintains Policies and processes relating to release management
- Drives adoption of policies and processes
- Facilitates the release schedules and arrangements with business stakeholders
- Ensures relevant stakeholders are available to assist with post implementation testing
- Ensures all information post a release is documented on changes
- Provides visibility to Management and Stakeholders on successful and failed changes
- Setup meetings for releases
General
- Provides support to ITSM
- Provides support to incident and problem management
- Provides support to ITAM teams
Formal Education:
- Matric
- Degree or relevant qualification in Information technology or similar
Technical/ Legal Certification:
- A+
- ITIL Foundation
- ITIL Asset Management (Advantage)
- ITIL Release Control and Validation V3
- ITIL Service Transitioning V3
- ITIL V4 Create, deliver and Support (Advantage)
- ITIL V4 Drive Stakeholder Value (Advantage)
- Kepner Tregoe problem solving or similar (Advantage)
- Advanced Microsoft Office
Experience:
- 3 years experience working with Change Control and Release Management
- IT environment (Advantage)
