The HEAD OF SALES will be accountable for the delivery of revenue growth for the South Africa division through the development of a sound sales strategy and effective implementation thereof. Using in depth knowledge of proven sales strategies the HEAD OF SALES will apply tactical initiatives to acquire new clients and grow new sales revenue .
Key Activities:
- Develop and implement the overall new sales strategy agreed on by EXCO.
- Generate and sustain a new business pipeline in the assigned territories.
- Develop revenue contingency plans
- Coach and develop Sales Managers and teams
- Compile and deliver proposals, tenders and quotes; attend client meetings where necessary
- Develop marketing campaigns
- Develop, implement and monitor visitation campaigns
- Work in collaboration with marketing, product and strategy teams to achieve objectives.
Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- University degree
- Experience selling corporate technology solutions or subscriptions
- A background in law, risk, compliance or governance is an advantage
- Proven track record in sales management and leadership
- Experience managing sales managers
- Ability to take on multiple channels and optimise the volume of leads for sustained results
- Results driven, analytical, action-oriented, able to influence and inspire
