A few key responsibilites include:
- To train employees and clients.
- Creation of educational materials, seminars and workshops.
- Design Training courses, lead training sessions.
- Develop Training Programs
- Conduct Training Sessions
- Evaluating effectiveness after training sessions
- Mentoring employees
Core Competencies:
- Knowledge on submission of Workplace Skills Plans. And Annual Training Report.
- Proficient in MS office/ working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
Additional Requirements:
- Certificate of competency on Skills Development Facilitator, Assessor, and Moderator.
- Accreditation by the National Artisan Moderating Body (NAMB) as an Assessor.
- Certificate in Occupational Directed Education, Training and Development Practices (will be an added advantage).
Suggested Minimum Education, Training and Skills Requirements:
- National Diploma in electrical engineering
- Trade Test Certification as a qualified Electrician (advantageous)
- NQF level 7 qualification in electrical engineering (advantageous)
Experience:
- 5 years industry work experience, of which 2 years as Training instructor, Assessor, and Moderator.
- Experience working with the SETAs.
- Experience on submission of Workplace Skills Plans. And Annual Training Report
