Our client is an established multi-national tax incentives and grants consultancy founded over 10 years ago. They assist innovative businesses conducting R&D to gain access to various forms of funding including suitable tax incentives as well as governmental and non-governmental cash grants. Their clients include companies across various sectors ranging from JSE Top 40 listed companies through to a number of SMMEs and startups.
Job Description:
They are looking for an ambitious professional who is keen to learn the skills of top-tier B2B sales whilst helping build their business. This position is a pure business development role for someone who is looking to enter or remain in the financial services industry. The role has uncapped earning potential and is sales driven. The chosen candidate will be reporting directly to the Head of Global Sales. This position requires a strong sales function to research and contact new clients who will be serviced by the existing operations team. The role will be based in their Johannesburg office in Sandton.
Job Summary:
- Create, through various means of research, a pool of potential new business opportunities.
- Generate new business opportunities by qualifying leads through cold phone calls and emails.
- Maintain an organized pipeline and activity records using HubSpot.
- Reach and exceed key performance indicators including meetings booked, calls completed, and emails sent.
- Work with the Head of Global Sales to help carry out the business’s growth strategy and go-to-market plan.
- Develop skills necessary for promotion into a Business Development Manager or any other relevant position.
- Other duties within the Employee’s vocational abilities.

- High energy, dynamic, resilient, self-starter and driven individual looking to learn top-tier B2B sales.
- Fearless approach to cold calling multi-cultural individuals with a willingness to learn persuasion skills.
- Exceptional command of English with strong writing skills.
- Ability to work within a team structure with defined roles and responsibilities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Strong academic results.
- A BCom Degree (Accounting, Tax, Economics, Finance, Investment Management or Similar).
- Sales/Business Development experience will be advantageous.
