Senior Recruitment Consultant – Permanent Placement Specialist

Salary: R28,000pm - R30,000pm( depending on experience ) + performance incentives
About the Role:
Remote Recruitment is seeking a Senior Recruitment Consultant to drive growth in our permanent placement division. This role is perfect for an experienced recruiter with a passion for building long-term client partnerships and matching skilled candidates with strategic roles. You will focus on high-quality candidate sourcing, leveraging our extensive network and technology suite to meet clients’ evolving needs and contribute directly to the profitability of our permanent recruitment team.
Working within a fully remote, cloud-based setup, you’ll collaborate with a talented team of recruitment professionals to meet ambitious placement goals. This role also provides opportunities to mentor junior consultants and play a strategic role in the company’s expansion, making it ideal for a seasoned consultant looking to advance their career in an innovative, fast-growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management : Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, deeply understanding their recruitment needs and developing tailored strategies to address staffing requirements.
- End-to-End Recruitment : Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to facilitating client interviews and securing candidate placements.
- Mentorship : Provide guidance to junior recruitment consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration and shared best practices to support overall team success.
- Sales and Business Development : Collaborate with our sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, growing the client portfolio and driving revenue for the permanent recruitment division.
- Data-Driven Reporting : Maintain up-to-date records in our CRM system, managing candidate pipelines and tracking client interactions for maximum transparency and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Professional Experience : At least 5 years in recruitment, specifically in permanent placements, with demonstrated success in hitting placement targets.
- Client-Focused : Strong relationship-building skills and a consultative approach to recruitment, with an ability to manage multiple client accounts effectively.
- Technical Proficiency : Comfortable using CRM systems and cloud-based communication tools (Microsoft Teams, monday.com) for seamless collaboration.
