About us
Dyson is a global technology enterprise. We solve the problems others choose to ignore, with surprising new inventions that defy convention and simply work better. Our technology is unique and complex, so it’s up to us to explain it clearly. Working in-house, directly with engineers and the broader business, we create inspirational communications that showcase our technology.
The global marketing team is responsible for taking our amazing technology to market and within this sit our content production teams. Our mission is to bring Dyson technology to life, to provide the imagery, films, content, experiences and service that explain our machines, their benefits, and the problems they solve for our Owners. We create stories and journeys that help Owners discover, choose, purchase, learn about, and solve issues they may have with our machines.
We prioritise our campus culture and do not offer a regular hybrid working setup to maintain Dyson's spirit of collaboration, creativity, and inventiveness in our dynamic workspaces.
About the role
As our Head of Content Production, you will be championing creative excellence at Dyson by overseeing the efficient delivery of all Imagery and Film productions. This role will involve managing the end-to-end production process, whether executed internally or through our preferred external partners. Productions will range from large-scale, multi-week shoots to ongoing, budget-sensitive social media projects. You’ll lead a team of content producers in Film and Imagery, providing them with clear direction, aligning their development needs with the broader team and business objectives, and ensuring a consistently high-quality output and service.
In this role, you will be balancing bringing creative visions to life with speed and efficiency. You will define a strategic approach to content production that balances Dyson’s in-house capabilities with the specialised support of external partners. Embracing the transformative potential of AI and automation, you will bring innovation into the creative production process and seek continuous improvements to reduce costs and scale operations.
You will be deeply involved from project inception, using your production expertise to influence creative concepts and enhance technical delivery. By building strong relationships across all levels of the global organisation, you will inspire and drive the team, maintaining Dyson’s competitive edge in content production. Working closely with the Creative leadership, as well as the Heads of Film and Art, you will align our production approaches with Dyson’s creative ambitions. As a senior stakeholder, you will also be accountable for managing risk, ensuring compliance with Dyson policies, and negotiating large-scale production budgets to align with both creative vision and operational metrics.
In addition to working with creative partners, you will collaborate with key departments such as Commercial Operations, Finance, HR, H&S, Legal, and Procurement to ensure resources, budgets, and compliance standards are managed effectively. You will also partner with our in-house production teams around the world. You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining a well-governed and effective supplier network, reinforcing Dyson’s production strategy at both tactical and strategic levels.
