Job Description
Responsibilities
- Responsible for phlebotomy duties.
- Maintain all equipment used for phlebotomy.
- Ensure adequate stocks for phlebotomy are maintained.
- Maintain patient/client confidentiality.
- Temperature logs.
- Decontamination logs.
- Dispose of needles and swabs according to procedure.
- Complete relevant documentation.
- Must be competent with taking cash up front and doing reconciliations for billing.
- Needs to be hands-on and focused when it comes to chasing results.
Qualifications
- 2 Years’ Experience.
- Flexible with shifts (including night shifts) with own reliable transport.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a manual vehicle (preferably own car).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must be prepared to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required.
- Well-groomed and well-presented.
- Must be registered with HPCSA.
