Duties & Responsibilities
Active Directory Administration: Create, modify, and delete user accounts, groups, computer accounts, and organizational units (OUs) within the Active Directory domain.
- Manage permissions, access controls, and security policies.
- Troubleshoot authentication and LDAP configuration issues.
- Configure and support DNS for new domains.
- Monitor and maintain Active Directory health.
Infrastructure Support: Troubleshoot DNS service and resolution issues.
- Assist in managing internal and external DNS systems.
- Collaborate with the Windows Active Directory Domain Administrator Support Team to provide timely and efficient support.
- Work with senior staff to resolve escalated incidents.
Identity Management Solutions: Continuously seek opportunities to improve existing Active Directory and Exchange architecture.
- Research and address technical challenges related to email retention, cluster communication, and public folder replication.
