The successful incumbent will be required to fulfil the following job description but not limited to:
- Implementation of projects with budget >R300m.
- Accountable for project scope within the agreed time and cost in compliance with thyssenkrupp Uhde SA procedures.
- Loading of new Project Product Structure into Daproh.
- Confirm Project Categorisation.
- Prepare Project Charter and get it authorised by Project Owner.
- Project risk assessment and implement agreed mitigating action.
- Collaborate with Commercial Department on:
- Project financial performance reporting.
- Compile, manage and resolve Claims/Compensation Events to the Client.
- Manage and resolve Claims for Suppliers and Subcontractors.
Responsible for all activities to RFC (Ready for Commissioning) of new production facilities.
Qualification:
Engineering Degree or Equivalent.
Experience:
- 15 years’ project management or relevant engineering experience.
- Site or commissioning experience advantageous.
- An in-depth knowledge of the NEC and FIDIC forms of contract would be an advantage.
Additional Educational Requirements:
- PMP from Project Management Institute.
- Microsoft Office working knowledge/P6 working knowledge.
