Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4
- Up to 3 years of equivalent experience
- Must be available immediately
Responsibilities
- Manage matters and clients within the operational finance team
- Obtain completed invoices from the firm for uploading onto required E-billing portals
- Check the status of invoices on E-billing portals and deal with rejections
- Prepare Matter invoice proposals
- Print out pro forma invoices for verification and checking by fee earners
- Make amendments to time as required: write downs and write ups, split bills, transfers, including and excluding discounts
- Submit invoices for final sign off and distribution
- Calculate and cross-check invoices before finalization
- Manage invoice requests received by the shared (centralized billing) team inbox
- Assist with billing (lead matter billing and normal billing) when secretaries are not available
- Effectively handle detailed information and be consistently attentive to details
