Number of subordinates: May vary according to the office.
Reporting line: National Head: Individual Insurance.
Education:
- Matric
- Level 4 FETC Short-term Insurance Qualification
- Higher Certificate in Insurance
- Diploma in Business Management is an advantage
- RE: Representatives
Experience:
- 7 years short-term personal lines insurance sales and service experience in a brokerage (proven track record)
- 2 years in a management or supervisory position

1. Increase Indwe’s market share
- Contribute towards the branch’s business plan.
- Translate retention and service plans into individual team’s performance objectives.
- Ensure client retention programmes are in place and in practice.
- Manage the service process and provide leadership for the service team to achieve and exceed targets.
2. Ensure profitability of portfolio
- Ensure that portfolio is profitable and sustainable.
- Identify and create opportunities for cross and up-selling.
- Manage the sales budget.
3. Build and manage the relationship between Indwe and its clients
- Build strategic relationships with Indwe’s clients.
- Deliver quality service by identifying specific client needs.
- Ensure that the Indwe brand is positioned positively in the market.
4. Operational effectiveness
- Develop and manage processes and systems for service experience.
- Ensure all client query/problem resolutions are in accordance with minimum standards.
5. Human Capital growth and development
- Ensure the recruitment and retention of key personnel.
- Train and develop staff.
- Effective management of employee relations.

- Ensure the attraction and selection of top calibre EE candidates.
- Contribute towards the achievement of the Regional BBBEE targets.
