Financial Accountant
Our manufacturing client is looking for a Financial Accountant, who is available immediately, to join their team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure sound and effective financial management by effective budgeting, forecasting, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Build solid relationships with customers, suppliers, auditors, legal, financial institutions, etc.
- Develop strategic operational implementation plans aligned to strategic objectives (Business Planning Management) that includes medium-term business plans.
- Provide accurate and reliable financial information, including monthly financial reporting, reconciliations, completing of financial packs and tax computations.
- Business Improvement initiation and implementation, in line with legislative changes (IFRS, SARS, SARB).
- Effective and efficient reporting to enable strategic decision-making.
- Supervise and monitor health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Relevant tertiary education - BCom Accounting.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in managing financial systems.
