Operations Manager
A Large Meat Processing Plant requires an Operations Manager who has a related three-year qualification in Food Sciences or similar and at least 5 years in a similar position. Responsibilities include implementing SHEQ policies and ensuring company production and QA policies are adhered to while minimizing stock shrinkage.
The successful applicant will initially be required to work night shifts, ensuring that shift changes are controlled and incident-free. Experience in the meat industry is essential, as is a sound knowledge of Health and Environmental regulations, including ISO45001, ISO14000, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, implementation of SANS10330, and HACCP for the products handled on site.
