The Chief Revenue Officer is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all revenue-generating functions in the company, driving revenue growth and maximizing sales performance across the organization. The CRO develops and executes strategies to drive sales, enhance market presence, and maximize profitability.
KEY TASKS
- Revenue Strategy and Planning
• Develop and implement comprehensive revenue growth strategies, aligning with the company’s long-term objectives
• Lead the creation of annual and quarterly revenue targets, forecasting, and budgeting processes
• Identify new market opportunities and drive market expansion initiatives - Sales Management
• Oversee the sales team, setting performance goals, and ensuring achievement of sales targets
• Implement sales processes, methodologies, and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders - Marketing Leadership
• Lead the marketing team in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility and generate leads
• Oversee market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to inform marketing and sales strategies
• Ensure consistent messaging and brand positioning across all marketing channels and campaigns - Revenue Operations
• Optimize revenue operations by streamlining processes and leveraging technology to enhance productivity and data accuracy
• Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of revenue-generating activities
• Collaborate with the CFO to ensure accurate revenue forecasting, reporting, and analysis - Customer Experience and Retention
• Drive initiatives to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention
• Develop and implement customer success programs to ensure customers derive maximum value from the company’s products and services
• Monitor and analyze customer feedback, addressing issues and opportunities to enhance the customer experience - Leadership and Team Management
• Lead and mentor the Marketing and Sales team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and professional development
• Act as a key advisor to the CEO and executive team on marketing and sales matters
• Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for team members - Cross-functional Collaboration
• Collaborate with other C-level executives to ensure alignment of revenue strategies with overall business goals
• Work closely with the Product Development and Finance teams to support product launches, pricing strategies, and financial planning
• Drive cross-functional initiatives that contribute to overall business growth and success
PREREQUISITES
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Qualification
• Relevant Engineering or Business degree
Experience & Knowledge:
• 15+ years sales experience with 10+ years in space domain
