- Strong ability to develop comprehensive digital strategies that drive traffic
- Ability to work with third party agencies on the design and UX
- Strategize, manage, build and deploy targeted email marketing campaigns
- Strong ability in developing backlinking strategies and deployment
- Create paid campaigns on social media platforms
- Exceptional understanding and implementation ability of SEO both on page and off page
- An ability to maintain consistent brand messaging throughout all platforms
- Monitor competitor social /website /apps and track industry email marketing trends
- Analyze and report on campaign/activity results and metrics, providing recommendations for future campaigns and optimizing content.
- Knowledgeable around all best practices when it comes to digital marketing
- Oversee and develop the monthly social media and email calendars and content strategy ensuring it aligns with brand marketing activities and the quarterly campaigns
- Listen online and manage the chatter to ensure that all digital and social media platforms are effectively monitored; identify and resolve consumer issues in a timely, accurate and on brand manner
- Establish KPIs and benchmarks to track performance across social channels and email marketing activities
- Conduct rigorous QA testing on emails
- Advanced ability in creating affiliate website strategies
- Ensure email and social media communication are in compliance with global anti-spam and privacy legislation
Requirements:
5 years + working as a digital marketing specialist or similar role
Completion of education either in the e-commerce, marketing or digital space
Experience working with email marketing systems to manage large subscriber bases
Strong experience in planning, testing and optimizing email campaigns
Knowledge and experience with digital marketing, marketing automation and campaign management tools
Strong ability to troubleshoot and creatively solve problems related to email-related issues
Knowledge of email marketing best practices, digital performance metrics and various Anti-Spam Legislations
Knowledge of social media marketing best practices
Demonstrated knowledge of HTML/CSS code including email coding best practices and rendering troubleshooting
Ability to manage a large number of email marketing and social media campaigns simultaneously
Proactive mindset and ability to plan, communicate, and deliver project plans accordingly
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and have sound business judgment in project prioritization
Strong written and verbal communication
Has the ability to jump in and hit the ground running.
