Sea and Air Freight Forwarding Logistics industry

Analyse project specifications, scope of work, and client requirements to determine the most effective and efficient transportation solutions.
Develop comprehensive cost estimates by considering various factors such as transportation modes, distances, cargo volumes, labour costs, fuel prices, and other relevant variables.
Research market conditions, supplier rates, and industry trends to ensure accurate pricing and competitiveness.
Prepare and submit detailed proposals and bids to clients within designated timelines.
Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss cost estimates and address any questions or concerns.
Review and negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction and profitability.

Advanced Certifications or additional relevant qualifications are a plus.
Proven experience as an Estimator in a Clearing and Forwarding industry.
In-depth knowledge of transportation modes, pricing structures, and industry-specific cost factors.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts to stakeholders.
Proficiency in using relevant software tools for estimation and analysis.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering accurate and competitive cost estimates.
Must have Sea and Airfreight quotation experience.
Knowledge of local regulations and industry standards in the logistics and transportation sector is desirable.
Experience: Minimum 5 years.
