To oversee and manage all aspects of the Marketing of the Blood business unit, servicing the Transfusion Therapies, Bioscience, Pathology / RDT . Optimizing growth and profitability within the unit
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor of Science (preferably in Nursing) or equivalent qualification
- Marketing qualification preferable
- Marketing or Brand management experience in the Blood Business Unit Essential
- Knowledge of or working with SANBS an advantage
- Knowledge of Project management an advantage
Overview of duties (not limit to)
- Implementation of division marketing strategies
- Analysis of regional sales, competitor and market share data, develop strategies and action plans to maximise sales potential
- IQVIA/IMS Data intermediate/super user, understanding, interpretation
- Management of resources i.e. budget, stock, time, systems, sales tools
- To develop and sustain strong working relationships with key stakeholders in order to ensure continuous brand loyalty and advocacy.
- Develop customer proposal / presentation for communication and implementation.
- In-depth understanding of regional and national trends and customer dynamics
- Proactive actions to prevent potential threats to business results
- Understand customer practices and prescribing habits
- Respond to customer requests and resolve regional issues timeously
- Coach and develop the sales representatives
- Frequent customer visits with and without product specialists
- Analysis and monthly reporting on team performance
- Monitor and develop action plans to correct underperformance
- Manage field force effectiveness measure
