- Minimum Grade 12 / N2, preferably N3 or higher technical qualification and National Qualification preferred.
- Trade Test / National Qualification preferred.
- Code EC or C (Code 14) Driver’s license preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years of concrete pumps and hydraulics experience essential
- Auto-electrical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge/experience preferred.

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS
The incumbent will be required to perform various tasks inherent to the position such as:
- General maintenance of concrete truck mixers, mixer units, concrete pump trucks, and wheel loaders
- Ensuring that scheduled daily and monthly maintenance is done on concrete truck mixers, mixer units, concrete pump trucks, and wheel loaders.
- Maintaining hydraulic systems
- Maintenance of fixed plant / batching plants, where required.
- Overall care and maintenance of company assets
- Tyre support for mobile plant
- Maintaining conveyor belts and screw conveyors
- Maintaining air compressors
- Pro-active planning of repair work on concrete mixer units
