Job Title: Assistant to the Sales and Operations Manager
Our client is looking for an Assistant to the Sales and Operations Manager with a focus on stock control forecasting and planning.
Main responsibilities:
- Be the link between Sales and Operations Department to ensure that requirements are managed between the two departments.
- Maintain and update Inventory Forecasting (stock needed for sales).
- Perpetually check low stock levels to arrange for orders to be brought forward from suppliers.
- Perpetually check overstocks on system to send reports out to Sales Manager to assist in selling stock.
- Order stock at the right price to arrive at the right time.
- Follow up on orders from suppliers.
- Generate monthly stock reports for Branch Management.
Skills and Knowledge:
- At least 3 years stock ordering / stock management experience (on system, not physical stock management in warehouse).
- Syspro.
- Excel - Intermediate.
- MS Word.
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate – minimum requirement.
- Qualification in Inventory Planning / Forecasting would be an advantage.
