South Africa & Sub Sahara Head of Finance
Statutory Officer for the Kenvue South Africa Legal Entity and Business Partner to the Commercial Organization in the Region.
This position reports into the Snr. Finance Director, RAMET and is based in Cape Town, South Africa.

What You Will Do
The SSA Head of Finance is responsible for the Financial Leadership of the Business across South Africa & Sub Sahara supporting the growth and profit initiatives of this $200MM Region. In addition, he/she will support the BBBEE initiatives and in-country Treasury.
Key Responsibilities
- Statutory Officer for Johnson & Johnson (Pty) Ltd
- Develop financial models to support decision-making regarding NPIs, and investment opportunities taking a balanced view to risk while focusing on profitable growth.
- Support pricing reviews, new product launches and promotional evaluations to drive the right mix of product sales in line with the Global Strategy. GP and CIW improvement/optimization should be at the core of all discussions and evaluations.
- Provides proactive and innovative applications of financial knowledge, driving compliance and operational improvements, providing finance for non-finance managers training where applicable to support these improvements.
- Active leader within South Africa to help support the delivery of all financial commitments.
- Drive the accountability of the coordinated Squad and S&OP processes which provide the bases for NTS forecasting, GP mix understanding and leads to informed investment decisions/distortion.
- Identify and recommend efficiency spend projects.
- Ensure availability, reliability, and timely commentary on reports for the sub-cluster P&L's, in-market data and other RAMET and Regional financial requirements.
- Co-ordinate with the Region for month, quarter, and yearend close activities.
- Involvement/Leadership of improvement projects both Finance and Business Operations
- Involvement with Distributor and Customer negotiations
- Locally develop and maintain internal controls to ensure that finance processes are compliant and aligned with SOX regulations and Kenvue ICH guidelines.
- Act as a liaison with external firms and government offices where appropriate.

- University Degree in Finance/Accountancy or Professional Finance Qualification
- Minimum 10 years of related working experience.
- Preferably solid knowledge of consumer business and its interfaces.
